Our mission is our passion: Helping people make sense of things. Our trainers and consultants are dedicated to achieving the lightbulb effect for our customers through mentoring, training, and consulting – that “aha” moment that happens when you really get something. To that end, we have developed materials, led classes, and created programs that facilitate that lightbulb or “aha” moment.

Katalyst Now: From catalyst (an accelerator for reactions) and Knowledge.

The principals of Katalyst Now grew up within education and learning. Kacy McClean, co-founder and principal, holds degrees in both Education and Business. Committed to learning, she had more than a decade of experience delivering, managing, and implementing training programs and curriculum for fortune 500 companies before founding Katalyst Now. Her goal was to build a company that could serve as a catalyst – an accellerator for the learning process. Kacy and her team focus on the integration of technology in K-12 classrooms, and application of office applications for individuals, schools, and businesses.

Sean McClean is an ITIL Service Manager/Practitioner and is AIS Openview certified for ServiceCenter. He has taught nationally and internationally on the implementation of software tools and ITIL processes for governments, academia, and fortune 500 companies for over 10 years. Sean has presented and published for various national conferences and organizations, and is a dynamic presenter that emphasizes learner involvement, participation, and practical application of concepts. Currently Sean is active as a Subject Matter Expert for the ITSMF and Exin, participating in the development of ITIL certification and ongoing education programs (V2 and V3) as well as HP’s BluePrint for ServiceCenter.
